When we began Watershed Building Company, we wanted our clients to feel like they were able to carefully make decisions to ensure they were confident in the build process and ecstatic with the end result.
Too many builders rush the planning and building stage, leaving home owners in the dark about their dreams. Not us! Our pressure free design phase was carefully curated so that clients can have the space, energy, and time to design their dream home without feeling rushed and pressured.

If we feel that we're a great match, we will send you an email questionnaire.
This questionnaire consists of insightful questions that will provide us with background information and help us align with your vision.
This, in turn, will ensure that our initial meeting goes smoothly. Afterward, we will schedule a date for our first meeting where we can discuss your project face-to-face.
Home Consult
Our Director & Your Personal Builder, Evan Turner, will eagerly connect with you to delve into your lifestyle and unveil your personal vision for your dream home. This invaluable meeting serves as an opportune moment to meticulously review the questionnaire, ensuring a comprehensive understanding.

Concept Design
We meet for a concept briefing, after which we will diligently craft a comprehensive design brief. This document will serve as a blueprint outlining your unique vision, needs, and requirements.

Once armed with the design brief, our skilled design team will spring into action. They will meticulously create an initial set of concept plans that perfectly align with the specifications outlined in your design brief. These concept plans will offer you a tangible glimpse into the awe-inspiring vision of your dream home, enabling you to vividly visualize its captivating aesthetics and layout.
Preliminary Budget Estimate
Empower you with a clear understanding on your project's investment is crucial. Once our design team wraps up the concept design, we provide a Preliminary Building Estimate (PBE). This gives you an initial price range, helping you see if the budget aligns with your financial capacity. It’s a handy way to figure out early on if any adjustments are needed in the design, materials, or finishes, ensuring you meet your priorities while staying within your budget.

Once we have collectively ensured that all the necessary boxes are diligently ticked and you are satisfied with both the design and the preliminary budget estimate, our dedicated design team can seamlessly transition to crafting the detailed drawings. These intricate drawings will serve as the foundation for the next phase of our collaboration, bringing your vision to life with meticulous attention to detail.
Detailed Drawing
With all the necessary information at hand, our building designers will embark on the task of consolidating the intricate details to create the comprehensive and detailed drawings. In order to ensure the structural integrity and adherence to regulations, the expertise of engineers and other professional services will be enlisted, as they become an integral part of the project.

Once the meticulous planning and designing phase reaches its culmination, the finalized plans will be prepared. This step plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with local regulations and obtaining the necessary approvals to proceed with the construction phase.
Detailed Scoping & Costing
Once we have reached this stage, we can confidently move forward with documenting the project scope & costing your dream home.

Presentation
Once the project costing has been meticulously finalized, we will swiftly arrange a meeting to present the comprehensive quote. During this meeting, we will diligently go through each and every aspect of the detailed costings. This presents a perfect opportunity for you to ask any tough questions you may have and ensure that all your budget concerns are satisfactorily addressed.

Upon your acceptance of the quote, we will proceed to formalize and sign your Master Builders Home Building contract along with all the necessary documents. Additionally, we will secure your Home Indemnity Insurance, providing you with the peace of mind and protection you deserve. Alongside this, we will present you with a detailed timeline and program, outlining the various stages of the construction process.
Together, we will agree upon a start date that suits your preferences and requirements. Rest assured, we will diligently ensure that all preconstruction requirements are thoroughly met and satisfied, setting the stage for a seamless and successful construction journey.
Pre Construction Meeting
Prior to commencing the construction phase, we will facilitate a meeting between you and Your Personal Builder, Evan, alongside our esteemed trade partners.

Furthermore, we will provide you with exclusive access to our Watershed Building Company client portal. This online platform is equipped with cloud-based project management software, granting you real-time access to every facet of your build. From essential documents and comprehensive log reporting to a gallery of photographs capturing the progress, our client portal ensures consistent and transparent communication throughout the entire building process.

Construction
As we take charge of your site and commence the construction of your new home, you can expect the following:
Stay updated through our Watershed Building Company client portal, where you will receive regular logs, providing you with valuable insights into the progress of your project.
Receive weekly site reports, ensuring you are well-informed about the ongoing developments on your property.
Engage in fortnightly site meetings with Your Personal Builder, Evan, where we will have the opportunity to discuss the project in-depth. These meetings serve as a platform to keep you informed as your dream home takes shape, fostering a smooth and seamless construction process.

Should any variations or changes emerge, we will promptly update costings, budgets, and timelines, keeping you informed throughout the process to avoid any surprises associated with unforeseen costs, charges, or delays. Additionally, we are committed to reviewing the construction program throughout the project and communicating any changes that may become necessary, ensuring transparency and alignment with your expectations.
Rest assured, we place great emphasis on quality control. As each stage of construction progresses, we meticulously work through our rigorous 300-point Quality Control Checklist, ensuring that every aspect of your home meets our stringent standards. Completion
With the completion of construction, we will go the extra mile to ensure your new dream home is presented to you in pristine condition.
